Licensed fire detection
Fire detection systems that protect your people and property
Australian fire agencies attend more than 100,000 fire-related incidents, of which 20% involve structure fires.
We are licensed by the Tasmania Fire Service to install fire detection to Australian Standard AS 1670.1, and we carry out monthly testing to Australian Standards.
By providing a comprehensive range of fire detection services and products, we help our customers keep their loved ones and employees safe from fire-related incidents. We can also connect your premises to fire control, so an alarm alerts not only the building’s occupants, but the fire service as well.

Are you licensed to install fire detection systems?
Yes. We are licensed by the Tasmania Fire Service to install fire detection to Australian Standard AS 1670.1.
What types of fire detectors do you install?
There are two kinds of fire detectors – smoke detectors and heat detectors. In the event of a fire, they send signals to the control panel. Detectors should be placed in each room, and the best position is generally in the centre of the room on the ceiling.
Can my alarm alert the fire service automatically?
Yes. We can connect your premises to fire control to ensure an alarm alerts not only the building’s occupants, but also the fire service.
How often should my fire detection system be tested?
We carry out monthly testing to Australian Standards, and your control panel also gives you the flexibility to test the whole system on a weekly basis.
Do you provide fire safety training?
Yes. We carry out fire risk assessments and provide training so the people living or working on your premises know what to do in the event of a fire and the alarm sounding.
